Chris Bernardes was an actress in the plays “Jeux de massacre” by Eugène Ionesco and “Marina, the Intangible” by Murilo Rubião, performed at the PUC-MG Theater. She took part in short scenes with Grupo Galpão, where she acted in “La Cantatrice chauve” by Eugène Ionesco. She trained in the “Prêt-à-Porter” course at the Center for Theater Research led by Antunes Filho, one of Brazil’s greatest playwrights. She acted in the short film “Margarine Syndrome” by Cadmiel Jr. She worked as a stage director and actor coach for the short film “What I Want, What You Want,” which won Best Actor at the Brazilian Museum of Sculpture and Ecology in São Paulo. She participated in the Abramović Method, a series of exercises developed by Marina Abramović aimed at exploring the limits of body and mind, during the exhibition “Terra Comunal + MAI” in São Paulo. She also collaborated on the musical creation of the play “BR3” by Teatro da Vertigem.
