New medias
Chris Bernardes is a video artist whose trajectory in audiovisual media contributes to the development of an expanded artistic language. In the field of new media, he has developed projects that articulate artistic creation and social reflection, notably the "420" project, an innovative cross-disciplinary proposal developed in Brazil, and the video series "Tarado Ni Você," whose images were presented at MIS-SP (Museum of Image and Sound of São Paulo). He also developed the "Projeto Contrafluxo", a series about sustainable behavior, and edited the documentary "Lemos Livre," about the artist Fernando Lemos, presented at MUDE in Lisbon. As a video performer, he has presented live works in spaces such as Casa do Xisto (Barcelos) and Camboja Sessions (Lisbon), exploring real-time visual devices and experimental presentation contexts.
